Society and Friends Offered Discount to King Day Concerts
The Philadelphia Chamber Music Society invites Lawnside Historical Society members and friends to a two-concert event, “Singing Freedom, Parts I & II” on Sunday, Jan. 15th at 3 PM and Monday, Jan. 16 at 7:30 PM in the Perelman Theater at the Kimmel Center, Philadelphia.
The first concert is “Songs in Flight” featuring Grammy winner Rhiannon Giddens, plus vocalists Karen Slack, Reginald Mobley, and Will Liverman with pianist Howard Watkins. The second concert presents “Three Dialogues,” performed by the Pine Forge Academy Honors Choir.
