LHS Presents: History of Lawnside & the Underground Railroad @ Camden County Library – Gloucester Branch

Lawnside Historical Society members Linda Shockley, Muneerah Higgs and Jacqueline Miller Bentley will speak on the History of Lawnside and the Underground Railroad at the Haddon Township, Bellmawr, and Gloucester Township branches of the Camden County Library for Black History Month.
The programs are free.
Mrs. Shockley is president of the Society, Mrs. Higgs and Mrs. Miller-Bentley, both retired educators and consultants, direct the summer Underground Railroad Camp, which will be offered from June 24 through 28, 2024.
