LHS Monthly Meeting: Civil Rights – Sitting In and Standing Up

Margaret Taylor shares her story of protest, arrest and jail during the Civil Rights Movement in her native North Carolina. After graduating from Shaw University, she headed to Ohio to work. She continued to contend against discrimination and inequality, relocating to New Jersey where she taught high school for 32 years.
