The Society will coordinate a panel called “Shining a Light on N.J. Underground Railroad Sites” at the 2023 New Jersey History & Historic Preservation Conference: FUN AND FURY. The conference will be held at Stockton University-Atlantic City on June 12 and 13. The session will highlight how heritage tourism can bring more visitors and amplify the narratives of these sites of heroism and courage.
