Join the June LHS Meeting for a discussion on from the Green Book Research Team. They have unearthed loads of pictures, advertisements, news articles and stories about the people who created businesses in Lawnside and Berlin that beckoned to Black motorists during segregation.
This third summer Underground Railroad Camp will run from 10 AM to 1 PM from Monday, June 24th to Friday, June 28th, 2024. In addition to a focus on Lawnside's Peter Mott House Underground Railroad Museum, campers will visit other UGRR sites and learn about the lives of freedom seekers using visual, performing and folk arts.
