This enrichment program will inspire young minds about the courage and resiliency of freedom seekers and abolitionists that helped the enslaved navigate the Underground Railroad. Campers will also learn about the unique history of Lawnside, New Jersey – the first Black town incorporated in the northeast.
Activities, tours and trips will engross sixth- to eighth-grade students, based at the Peter Mott House. The program is designed to enhance their understanding of the Underground Railroad and historic Lawnside. Enrollment in the camp costs $25.
