Lawnside Featured in Philadelphia Exhibit

Shamele Jordon, genealogist, historian and researcher, is curating an exhibit with the Historical Society of Pennsylvania that will showcase its collections highlighting Lawnside. The opening event will be held on Thursday, June 12 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at 1300 Locust Street, Philadelphia. Items from Lawnside and Berlin’s Green Book locations will also be on display. This exhibit opening will replace the Society’s monthly meeting.
We encourage Lawnsiders to attend this free event in person directly across from the PATCO station at 13th and Locust streets. The borough’s senior citizen bus will be available with limited seating.
