For the second year, members of the Lawnside Historical Society will give free one-hour presentations during Black History Month at three branches of the Camden County Public Library.

“New Jersey UGRR Immersive Experience” with Muneerah Higgs. Master educator Muneerah Higgs details the innovative project she and a group of New Jersey teachers are creating to focus on the UGRR throughout our state. Mrs. Higgs, co-directs the Society’s Underground Railroad Camp for middle school students.
