The Underground Railroad Camp Returned to the Peter Mott House this Summer!
The fourth summer Underground Railroad Camp hosted by the Lawnside Historical Society will examine the network to freedom through the lens of photography.
This summer’s program will run from 10 AM to 4 PM from Monday, July 6 to Friday, July 10, 2026 at the Democrat Club, 361 E. Charleston Avenue, Lawnside, NJ.
The free camp is funded by a grant from the New Jersey Arts and Culture Renewal Fund, Camden County Cultural and Heritage Commission, a partner of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts. Students who will be in sixth through eighth grade are invited to apply. Meals and snacks will be provided.
